dcypher unites researchers, hackers. teachers, students, manufacturers, users and policy makers to increase knowledge and expertise in the Netherlands in the area of cybersecurity.
The Netherlands positions itself as a country doing excellent research in the area of cybersecurity, offering students excellent higher education programs, transferring acquired knowledge and skills into innovative abilities of the public and private sector, and delivering highly educated professionals to these sectors.
dcypher will take care of bottom-up agenda setting and coordination of scientific and applied cyber security research and higher education. This means that research and education agendas are composed after broad consultation of the field (knowledge-institutions, enterprises, governments).
