CfP Offensive Cryptography Special issue

June 11, 2019

Call for papers Offensive Cryptography Special Issue for Cryptography and Communications. Cryptography underlies the security of data and communication in the modern world. An important aspect of cryptologic research is verifying that cryptographic primitives and constructs are secure against attackers. Offensive cryptography focuses on identifying and exploiting weaknesses in cryptographic algorithms, their implementation, and their use. For that purpose, it employs multiple techniques ranging from mathematical techniques for the analysis of algorithms to probing and manipulating the physical environment in which a computing device executes these algorithms.

The purpose of the “Offensive Cryptography” special issue of the journal of Cryptography and Communications is to present the current state of the art in attacks on cryptographic systems.
