Open positions for PhDs on symmetric cryptography

August 16, 2018

A number of open positions for PhDs on symmetric cryptography.

The research topics include:
- security analysis of block ciphers and permutations
- further unification of the field of cryptographic attacks
- provable security of modes
- implementations that provide protection against side channel attacks, fault attacks and both at the same time
- secure channel protocols

The ambition is to do pioneering research that is relevant to the real-world for students that are good at programming, team players, curious, and not afraid of mathematics.

The positions are for 4 years starting from October, but later start is also possible (up to one year).
